AmatyaTerms of Service
Effective September 30, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Momentra Technologies Private Limited, a company in India ("Amatya", "we", "us"), for using the Amatya apps and amatya.app. By using Amatya you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Amatya
You must be at least 13, or 16 in the UK and the EU. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. Amatya is invite-only for now, and we may limit how many people we admit.
Your account
You sign in with Apple. You're responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping your devices secure. If you think someone else is using it, write to hello@amatya.app.
What Amatya is, and isn't
Amatya keeps your tasks, reminds you and suggests what to do, using AI models. AI can be wrong. It can misunderstand a message or a date, and a reminder can fail because of a phone setting, the network or an outage. Amatya helps you keep track; it doesn't replace your judgment. Don't rely on it alone where a miss could cause serious harm, such as medication, legal or payment deadlines, or safety.
Your content
What you send and what Amatya creates for you, like your tasks, notes and memory, is yours. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only to run Amatya for you, including through the providers our Privacy Policy describes. We don't use it to train AI models. Make sure you have the right to send what you send.
Working with other people
If you connect with someone and hand them a task, they see that task and its dates. Only hand over what you're happy for them to see.
Acceptable use
Don't use Amatya to break the law or anyone's rights; to harass or deceive anyone, including through tasks handed to others; to attack, overload, probe or get around the limits of our systems; to copy, reverse engineer or scrape Amatya or build a competing product with it; or to manipulate the AI against other users. We may limit, suspend or close an account that does.
Price
Amatya is free during early access. We will add a paid plan later. We'll tell you at least 30 days before, and nothing you use will start costing money without your agreement.
Changes
Amatya is new and changes often: we add, change and remove features, and we change the AI models behind them. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using Amatya after that means you accept the new terms.
Ending
You can stop using Amatya and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Amatya. Unless the reason is abuse or the law, we'll give you notice and a chance to get a copy of your data.
Disclaimers and liability
Amatya is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reminders or AI output will be correct or on time, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits, data or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or ₹8,000. None of this limits a liability the law doesn't allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to your own law and courts. Before going to court, write to us and give us 30 days to put things right.
Apple
If you got Amatya from the App Store, Apple's standard terms for apps also apply. Apple isn't responsible for Amatya or its support.
